Question: Discuss abou the Structural analysis design of the tall building. Answer: Introduction The report is based on the case study for the development of an information system in the Mercy Hospital. The system is for the automation of the pharmacy system in the hospital. The system has been named as Mercy Hospital Pharmacy system. This assignment is based on the system development of the project that had been proposed in the previous assignment. This report is the documentation of the finding that has been found from the collection of the different details about the system implementation. The report also consists of the working procedure of the Mercy Hospital Pharmacy system. The diagram presented is used for the proposing of the systems requirements as well as the process that the system would be able to perform. The process of system analysis and investigation is important for the understanding of the process to follow for the development of a system requested by the company. There are several process which can be followed for the process of investigation of a system and prepare a detailed report. The methods that has been used for the development of this system are as follows: Interview: The process of interview helps in the collection of information from the users who would be directly related to the working of the system when complete. The process is to talk face to face to the person who would be using the system and analyzing the result. The information collected is in the raw form. Document analysis: this process is the study of the system that is currently being followed by the company for the completion of the task, which is to be automated into a system. The analyst studies the system closely analyzing and recording the process that is being followed by the employees. At the end, the analyst studies the system and designs a system for the company. This process helps in the understanding of the process that is to be followed by the designer of the system. Questionnaire: this method of investigative analysis helps in the collection of crude data, which cannot be directly used without the use of proper analysis. The data is studied by the analyst and cleared out of the anomalies of the data that has been collected from the study group. The data helps in the understanding of the scenario, which is there in the company without much effort. Task 2A Figure 1: Use case diagram (Source: Created By Author) The use case diagram created for the case study shows the different users of the system who are going to use it. There are currently five users of the system: Doctors Nurses Pharmacy technician Pharmacy station Billing The complete system has been configured so that the system of drug acquisition can be easily completed and the relevant data stored in the system. The main cases that are there in the system are: Login Prescription Drugs Label Bottle the medicine Bill These has been considered the most important cases that are required for the proper functioning of the system. All users of the system would be able to login to the system and use the system as per their requirement. The system has been designed as per the case study. Task 2B Figure 2: Domain Class Model (Source: Created By Author) The domain class model shows the form of data that is to be stored in the database as per the system that is to be designed for the hospital. The designing of the database shows the data to be stored in seven tables which are as follows: Doctor Nurses Pharmacist Patient Prescription Drugs Bill Label The details that are to be stored in the entities can be classified as follows: Doctor (doctorID, name, address, phoneNo, specialty) Nurses (nurseID, name, address, phoneNo, specialty) Pharmacist (pharmID, name, address, phoneNo, type) Patient (patientID, name, address, phoneNo, doctorID) Prescription (presID, patientID, doctorID, drugList) Drugs (drugID, drugName, drugType) Bill (billID, patientID, drugType, drugAmount, cost) Label (labelID, patientID, drugType, dosage, expiryDate, instruction, billID). The connection in the diagram shows the information that is to be shared among the tables so that the information can stay constant in the system that has been created for the hospital. Task 2C The activity diagram is based on a specific scenario from the case study. The scenario presented for the activity diagram is such that the doctor is writing a prescription for the patient and sending it to the pharmacy. The pharmacy technician reviews the prescription and forwards it to the appropriate station in the pharmacy for the bottling of the medicine. The medicine after bottling is again reviewed by the technician at the pharmacy. It is then sent for the labeling of the bottle. After the bottle has been labeled it is sent to the billing department and then finally to the patient. The complete activity has been depicted in the diagram as per the case study and the scenario provided. Task 2D Figure 4: Sequence diagram (Source: Created By Author) The system sequence diagram is used for the showing the flow of the work in the system so that the work may be completed in the least amount of time. The scenario presented for this diagram is the writing of a prescription by the doctor and sending it to the pharmacy. The diagram shows the process that is followed by the system as per the case study that has been provided for the report. Conclusions Based on the above report is can be concluded that the Mercy Hospital Pharmacy system can be easily implemented in to the hospital with some minor changes to the present situation in the hospital. The diagrams shared in the report helps in the identification and the analysis of the process to follow for the development of the proposed system for the hospital. The detailed report would help the reader to assess the prospect required for the development of the system as well as the completion of the system as per the requirement of the hospital. Example speech free essay sample

Good day! I hope you had a great start of the day just as I had. Of course knowing that I’ll be speaking here in front of you makes me feel very flattered and honoured. Before I start, I would like first to share a saying that I truly believe, communication starts for those who works for it. And that communication includes writing a letter, let alone writing a business letter. Writing a business letter is just like writing other types of letter it includes not only the message itself but also other important and optional parts. The important parts includes the heading which tells the identity of the sender; the inside address that tells the reader to whom the letter is address; greeting which introduces your letter in professional tone; the body of the letter is of course, the most important section of the letter-from both the writers and the readers point of view; the closing is typically a short, one word ending that tells your reading that they have reached the end of your letter and the signature, under the closing and reiterate the identity of the sender. We will write a custom essay sample on Example speech or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page The optional part that is only used when required it includes attention line, subject line which is used to give the reader advance notice of what your letter is all about and some note that is used when we included some envelope or package, send copy of the letter to one or more persons and wishes or not to let the addressee know, these notations can be enclosure notation, mailing notation, carbon copy notation or blind copy notation. While the most familiar, the post script is used when the writer has intentionally forgotten to mention something and to draw the readers attention to a particular important point. When writing a business letter, we dont just consider the part but also know how these parts should be arranged in other words the arrangement styles of the letter. There are different styles in which the parts are positioned. It can be block style in which all the parts begin at the left margin or modified block style where only the position of the date line, complimentary closing and the writers identification starts at the horizontal center of the page. But if you want your letter to have the format of modified block style and the first line of all the paragraphs are indented then you can use the modified-block style with indented paragraphs or semi-block style. While some people prefer the social business style because of it differs from regular business letter styles in a number of ways such as instead of opening the letter, the inside address may be typed at the left margin five lines below the signature line and the reference notations, enclosure notations, carbon copy notations and often the writers typewritten signature are omitted and so on and so forth. Using the formats and arrangement styles, you will be sure to send letters that look attractive and modern. However, they cannot be effective and promote goodwill if your writing is not well-organized and the ideas are not well-planned. Thats why we need to know the different kinds of the business letter. One could hardly name all the kinds of business letter written but here are the most frequently use. The request letter or â€Å"please send me† letter, these are letters written for simple request for information, literature, appointments, reservations and so on. And the kind of letter that answers these letters are called form the name it suggest without a doubt, the letter answering requests. Meanwhile, when the person who has been inconvenient or offended writes a letter of protest, it is called claim letter or also known as complain letter. And the letter that answer these letters are called adjustment letters. Next kind is for those who want to request for a credit or would like to remind the person who did not pay you what they owe to you, the credit and collection. Next is every letter business people write, the sales letter, these are written for specific purpose of selling good or service. And the kind of letter that everyone uses, especially you my dear listeners sooner or later, the application letter, it includes inquiring about a position, letters of application, letters thanking an employer and resignation letter. While there are different kinds of business letter, these kinds of letters can be handled simply in term of the readers anticipated reactions. These three basic letter patterns enable the writer to solve problems with request, order, claim, adjustment and what have you. First is the everday letter, it take a direct approach and are simple to write. While more skillfully writing techniques are needed when showing the reader why he/she should take and action before you actually ask the action to be taken, which is the persuasive letters. The last is the most difficult, bad news letter, it is when you are refusing request, adjustment or credit. Like the persuasive letter it should be take an indirect approach. Of all thats been said and done, the best way we all need to consider in writing a business letter or any letter is the preparation and proper approach to have a effective communication. Again like I said earlier, communication works for those who works for it. Thank you for inviting me here and listening to me for a couple of minutes. Thank you and God bless!

We call this national holiday Independence day, celebrated on July 4th. But in the not so far future, was a war, that would rip the new nation apart. Reducing Fraud in Head Start Essay -- Legal Issues, Fraud, Abuse

Allegations of fraud and abuse involving two Head Start nonprofit grantees have been documented in the Midwest and Texas. The strengthening of internal controls and performance measures can reduce the amount of fraud and increase quality services to the nation’s most vulnerable children and families. Head Start, an anti-poverty program that dates to the 1960s, provides preschool, social and health services to more than 900,000 children and their families. (Anderson 2010) It receives more than $7 billion in federal funding annually. (Anderson 2010) Undercover investigators have found evidence of fraud and abuse at federal Head Start preschool centers, including cases in which enrollment procedures were manipulated to put potentially ineligible applicants into slots reserved for needier children. (Anderson 2010) The Government Accountability Office reported to Congress that investigators posed as families to test whether Head Start centers in six states and the District of Columbia followed federal rules. In eight of 15 cases, the GAO found, staff members at the centers fraudulently misrepresented financial information from applicants. (Anderson 2010) "This leaves Head Start at risk that over-income children may be enrolled while legitimate under-income children are put on waiting lists," the GAO concluded. One D.C. center disregarded $9,600 in reported income to enroll a fictitious family of three. An associate at the center told undercover investigators: "We don't need any extra; we need to keep you low." (Anderson 2010) In contrast, behind every good Head Start program is a good grantee or public organization. In other words, Head Start programs do not exist in isolation, but depend upon the organizational infrastruct... ...evident, as a part of an effective management system. Ideally, it should form a continuous thread that connects an organizational mission to its high-level outcomes and strategic objectives. Only then can an organization attempt to understand the level of cohesive planning that is required to implement a high quality Head Start program. In conclusion, Head Start programs do not exist in isolation, but depend upon the organizational infrastructures in which they are housed. They are products of governance, management and organizational leadership. The strengthening of internal controls and performance measures can reduce the amount of fraud and increase quality services to the nation’s most vulnerable children and families.
